Authors may request the withdrawal of a manuscript submitted to Indonesian Nursing & Health Outreach and Science (INDOS) before the manuscript is accepted for publication.
A withdrawal request must be submitted by the corresponding author to the editorial team with a clear reason for the withdrawal. The request should be made through the official journal communication channel.
Manuscript withdrawal may be requested for legitimate reasons, including:
- Serious errors in the manuscript that cannot be adequately corrected.
- Ethical or authorship issues that require withdrawal.
- Submission of the manuscript to another journal due to circumstances that have been appropriately explained to the editorial team.
Authors should not withdraw a manuscript simply because of disagreement with the reviewer's comments or editorial decision.
Once a manuscript has been accepted for publication or published, withdrawal is generally not permitted except in cases involving serious ethical, legal, or publication-related concerns. Any such request will be evaluated by the editorial team in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy.
INDOS reserves the right to take appropriate action if a manuscript is withdrawn without a valid reason or if the manuscript has been submitted or published elsewhere during the review process.
