Indonesian Nursing & Health Outreach and Science (INDOS) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and preventing plagiarism in all submitted manuscripts.

All manuscripts submitted to INDOS are subject to plagiarism or similarity screening before proceeding to the peer review process. The screening is conducted using appropriate plagiarism detection software to identify substantial similarities with previously published works and other sources.

The plagiarism screening covers, among others:

- Similarity with previously published articles.
- Similarity with online sources and academic publications.
- Unattributed use of text, ideas, or other intellectual work.
- Potential duplicate or overlapping publication.

If substantial plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are identified, the manuscript may be returned to the authors for clarification or revision, or rejected depending on the severity of the case.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original and that all sources, quotations, ideas, and previously published materials are properly acknowledged and cited.

INDOS may conduct additional plagiarism screening during the editorial and review process when necessary to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
